FAQ: ActiveMath tell's me "no items of your educational level found"Question: When I click on create a new book and request some of the possible topics I am presented with the following message: Problem detected: no items of your educational level found… course generation will fail. Is your educational level set correctly? Please check it and change it, if necessary: ( My User Data). What does it mean? Answer: It means that the course generation is unable to find the appropriate conceptual items to be presented as possible choices for the course generation. This step, the course generation topic choice, is based on a so-called grouping which is a simple table-of-contents listing, in a structured way, the conceptual items that can be chosen as goals for the course generation. To present this, ActiveMath goes through the grouping and selects only the items whose educational-levels match the user’s educational level. It is common to forget to set these educational levels (as of today, they have to be marked on each item’s metadata). Trackback URL for this post:http://eds.activemath.org/en/trackback/224
