Firewall fighting

In the preparation of the online tutorial, we keep fighting with network limitations!

It is horrible to think that virusses, the poor quality of MS Windows, and other bad things have brough security freaks to impose all sorts of limitations which make it that a good stream delivery such as UDP is just almost impossible to conceive anymore!

The very nice TeleTeachigTool is almost dead as a candidate for this tutorial just because of this. Instead, I seem to need to configure the darwin streaming server into something that also works over port 80…

Why can’t security freaks be better educated (Including advising to avoid unsecure OSs and applications) ?

Reality

However, the fact that MS windows unfortunately is the market leader makes it a prime target for attacks. Sometimes I’m philosophizing whether Linux and Apple OS would hold as well as they say they will when they have a 80% market share… Success sometimes leads to failure.
